Baron's soldier

This is a Tunnels and Trolls adventure in the Castle Calahony series.

Roll up 5 orcs at the opponents table. The last one you roll up is a wizard.

The entrance is narrow, and only 2 soldiers may pit themselves against 3 orcs. Wizards may assist with combat magic from behind.

At any time you may give up and return to the crossing. If you kill all orcs, plunder them and take your skill and adventure points.

Searching the room, you find a treasure box containing a scroll with a spell.

Roll 1d6 to find the level of this spell. Roll another 1d6 to find which of the first 6 spells of this level is on this scroll. All rogues and wizards may learn the spell. Being careless, you take the scroll outside where it turns to dust in the sunlight. You also find a small treasure chest containing 30 orcish scimitars.

Each scimitar is worth 4d+2 in combat, and doubles against humans. They are worth 20 Gps on the 2^nd hand market.
