Every evening you can train in the use of:

• the long sword
• the dirk
• the javelin (throwing)
• the pilum (throwing)
• the pilum (melee)
• the axe (dwarves only)

If you want to train with another weapon, such as a terbutje or pike, the sergeant kindly explains that the army derives it strength from its great expertise in the handling of the weapons above, and that the formation tactics also rely on the weapons above.

[Tip: To speed things up, note that you have 21 evenings to train your warriors with these weapons.
Give all your warriors the same training, for example:
1 straight sword 4d6+2     2000 skill points (+3)
3 javelins 2d6                     100 skill points  (+1)
Then use Copy and Paste to replace the appropriate part of the weapons section of your warriors.
