Annals of the proceedings of the pearlgate of Thratin

These are the records of the pearlgate of Thratin, in the SnowMonth of Year 2962 of the third era, thirteenth year of the reign of King Blastus, King under Panatu.

Day 1:
Brought in twenty cheeses by farmer Martin, loaded on an ox drawn cart, as a tax payment to the King.

Day 2:
A group of twenty soldiers of fortune, on the way to King Khazad BroadBlade, and asking for shelter for the night.

Day 3:
Twenty soldiers of fortune, leaving for King Khazan BroadBlade.

Day 4:
Trader Jayhawk entered, with five camels, loaded with carpets and pieces of raw silver.

Day 5:
Trader Jayhawk left, with five camels, loaded with carpets and raw silver, accompanied by Thorin and Gloin, who have been hired as guards until castle Erenthalie.

Day 6:
Trader Mndr entered, with three cow drawn carts, loaded with raw silver. He declared that this silver was bought from the dwarf mines at Khazad-Dalim, and showed seals bearing the Royal signs. His company had six stout dwarves armed with double bladed battle axes, and we bade them to hand in their axes, as no starngers are allowed inside our town with battle weapons, and they handed them in with protests, and we gave them proofs of receipt, and stored their weapons behind locks in the gate house.

Day 7:
Farmer Smith entered, walking, and brought his monthly trunk of wood as a tax payment to the king.

Day 8:
Trader Mndr left, with three cow drawn carts, loaded with raw silver and axes. He declared that he had paid for the axes with part of the silver. We returned thenm their battle axes, and took the proofs of receipt.

Day 9:
Messenger Bloin from the dwarven town of Khazad Noir, with a request for aid against an unknown and nameless Terror assaulting the town of Khazad Noir.

Day 10:
Messenger Bloin, accompanied by twenty of our best soldiers, led by Nistrom.
